We are very happy to report that our doors are finally opening, albeit carefully and slowly. With the easing of restrictions we are able to begin taking reservations again. What has changed is that now we are asking each event organizer to complete and sign our new Covid-19 Lodge Rental Agreement.

The agreement is a 2 page document that addresses all the current requirements in the Mandatory Order Covid-19 issued by the New Brunswick Minister of Public Safety. This includes physical distancing, maximum numbers of people permitted outdoors and indoors, the wearing of masks, symptom screening, collecting contact tracing information and hand hygiene.

The agreement is our response to the requirement that business owners must “take all reasonable steps” to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

We have also implemented enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures. In addition to our regular cleaning routine, all high touch surfaces are sanitized before and after an event with an approved cleaner on the Health Canada list. There is signage throughout the lodge reminding people to not enter if they have symptoms or have travelled outside of NB in the last 14 days, to wash their hands and the proper way to wear and remove a mask. We also encourage visitors to use the two hand sanitizer stations. We have made a small adjustment to our rental hours to allow time in between bookings for thorough sanitizing.
